CDP and LLDP Neighbor Parser

Tabulate your Cisco network neighbors

How To Use

  1. Run one or more of the below commands on your Cisco device
    • show cdp neighbors
    • show cdp neighbors detail
    • show lldp neighbors
    • show lldp neighbors detail
  2. Copy the text output from the device
  3. Paste it into the Neighbor Output field below
  4. Adjust the Diagram by:
    • Zooming in/out with the
      buttons
    • Opening the diagram settings window with the button and changing the settings
  5. Adjust/export the Neighbors table by:
    • Dragging the columns to re-order them
    • Adding/removing columns using the button
    • Clicking the button to copy tab-separated data (ready to paste into a spreadsheet) to your clipboard
    • Clicking the button to download a CSV of the neighbor table

Platform Support

Command output from these platforms has been tested against Neighbor Parser. Other platforms may work, but have not been explicitly tested.

Privacy

Neighbor Parser is a 100% client-side application. The website is completely static and sends none of your private data over the internet.

The code is open-source and is published on the GitHub page.

You can use this webpage offline (with no network access) by either:

  1. Loading this page while online, then setting your browser to offline or removing your network access. The site will fully operate while offline.
  2. Downloading the offline ZIP file, unzipping it, and opening the dist/index.html file with your browser.
